Coronavirus Policy

According to the World Health Organization, transmission through food of the COVID-19 virus is unlikely and there is no evidence of this occurring with novel coronavirus to date, however investigations to identify the source of the outbreak, the extent of spread of the infection, and mode(s) of transmission are continuing.

Our Commitment To Reducing Risk
We have confirmed with our supply chain that adherence to good hygiene practices and other measures to protect against infections is maintained.
As per World Health Organization (WHO) advice, our staff and our suppliers are committed to the following practices:
- good hygiene and sanitation are maintained to avoid cross contamination between raw or undercooked foods and cooked or ready to eat foods in the kitchen.
- washing hands regularly
- cover of mouths and noses when coughing and sneezing
- thoroughly cooking meat and eggs
- avoiding close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness, such as coughing and sneezing
- As an added precaution, if staff have suspected symptoms of respiratory illness they will avoid preparing food for other people and seek medical attention.
